Senior Legal Adviser
Context
Within the Allianz Global Investors European Corporate Center, the Paris Legal and Compliance Department is looking for a senior legal adviser for a full-time position with immediate effect.
What you can expect
You will work in the Products Legal Team and will be in charge of drafting and reviewing:
- Derivatives master agreements under English law and French law (ISDA, FBF)
- Collateral master agreements under English law and French law (CSA, ARG) ;
- Repurchase and securities lending master agreements under English law and French law (GMRA, GMSLA, OSLA, FBF pensions livrées, AFTI);
- Clearing agreements and give-up agreements for listed derivative products;
- Commission sharing agreements.
You will, also, be involved in structuring and restructuring local mutual funds (Prospectuses and any other legal documentation thereto, liaising with depositary banks, auditors and the “Autorité des Marchés Financiers” (“AMF”), forthcoming UCITS IV implementation).
Finally, you will provide :
- Legal interpretation of investment guidelines (regulatory and contractual) ;
- Legal risk analysis of investments (e.g. structured products);
You will contribute to:
- Lobbying activities (e.g. membership of working groups of the Association Française de la Gestion Financière (AFG));
- Monitoring of disciplinary and regulatory developments (with a particular focus on legislative output of the AMF as well as on consultation processes initiated by the AMF, review of sanctions imposed by the AMF, etc.);
What you need to bring
You have a master degree or equivalent in French or English law, you have minimum 5 years in a Legal role within the asset management industry. Good command of French and English (written and spoken), you have ideally knowledge of any other European language (e.g. German or Italian). Ability to work autonomously and under pressure is one of your strengths If you are self-motivated, disciplined, organized and enjoy working with others you might be the right person for this challenge.

TopJunior Legal Adviser
Context
Within the Allianz Global Investors European Corporate Center, the Paris Legal and Compliance department is looking for a junior legal adviser for a full-time position with immediate effect.
What you can expect
You will work in the Products Legal Team and will be in charge of :
- drafting and reviewing prospectuses for French mutual funds, dedicated funds, open-ended investment companies, employee investment funds, French funds of hedge funds (“ARIA”) ;
- liaising with depositary banks, auditors and the “Autorité des Marchés Financiers” (“AMF”),
- assisting with forthcoming UCITS IV implementation (preparing the template for the key information document, analysing the impact of cross-border mergers and master-feeder UCITS structures).
You will, also, be involved in drafting and reviewing :
- Derivatives and collateral master agreements under English law and French law (ISDA, FBF)
- Clearing agreements and give-up agreements for listed derivative products, occasionally distribution agreements.
You will contribute to:
- Lobbying activities (e.g. membership of working groups of the Association Française de la Gestion Financière (AFG));
- Monitoring of disciplinary and regulatory developments (with a particular focus on legislative output of the AMF as well as on consultation processes initiated by the AMF, review of sanctions imposed by the AMF, etc.);
